Nice bike Zed
My mate GeeMan had the EXACT same bike as yours ...... but his was registered on '58 plate , so I reckon yours must have been left in a shop for a while before being registered in 2011
From 2009/2010 the seat unit changed on ALL models , so that's how I can tell
This was around 4 years ago in Southport

Re: My korean girl - GT650
Year model 2010 is when the changes came in ............ seat unit , brakes and on the R series new top yokes
The cowl around the headlight ( like yours ) was introduced in 2008 , along with clear indicator lenses and the EFI engine ........... also 2008 was the first year the Comet ( naked like yours ) had the adjustable front brake lever - the R models had it a while before that but not the naked bikes
So your bike , like Zeds' , will be a '08/'09 model despite being registered in 2010
My bike , the RED one in the above pic , is an '07 model ...... the last of the carb versions

Re: My korean girl - GT650
Just saw a post on Korider site on reading your VIN number - so mine is a 2009 model as you suspected Baz. According to that guide, 4A in my number suggests it is restricted, but I guess that's removed for UK market..... it must be it goes too fast to be a restricted bike.....
