I've owned my bike from new also ( GT650R @ 2007 ) , though mines' a carb model
Whereabouts are you from mate , there may be some one off here near you ............ I'm around 6-7 miles from NickC
We usually try and get an annual meet set up as well

Re: Hello and Happy New Year
Hi peter have you ever driven the gt125r?
I ask because I have one and am considering putting in a 250 engine but am not sure if the benefits will weigh up to the costs so a comparison between the two would be a big help.

Re: Hello and Happy New Year
Hi Gaz I have never driven a 125, the 250 is 29hp which I have found equates to about 95mph. I would have thought it would be easier to sell the 125 and get a 250 which has twin discs and the electronics which i am not sure if these are the same as the 125. Best update bike!
Cheers Peter
