11th of August
Well I am getting my new bike in three weeks and I cannot wait. It will have to sit pretty in my house for a while until the 11th as that is when I will get my new years bonus. But at least I know I am getting a Bike.
The bike I am getting is a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 750 K6 with 20000 miles on for £4000. Its black and comes with a black screen, rear pod, tidy tail, braded hoses, 2 paddock stands, alarm, 2 disk locks and a new set of tyres.
The insurance is £996.89 third party fire and theft with £250 excess.
So exciting.

Ohhhhh im sure there will be plenty of pics. Definitely will have to do a meet up.
Im going to have to take it easy. Its a big jump up from 12bhp to 140bhp. Im very excited and very scared as well. I rode a Kawa Z750 at 100bhp and I shat myself but an extra 40 on top of that, its a bit scary.

Re: 11th of August
Well I wont have to put my bike in the house and look at it for a couple of weeks getting annoyed because I carnt ride it till the 11th. The guy im buying it off said he will bring it to me on the 11th in the morning so it isn't sat either outside not insured or taking up room in the kitchen annoying my mum. And he doesn't want any more money as he says he likes me.

Yep. The guy im buying it off is moving to New Zealand in September so he is selling his collection and everything he cannot ship over. Bike runs like a dream, not a scratch on it and looks the dogs bollox.
I cannot wait for it. I haven't even told my dad iv got it so im going to surprise him with it. He will be more shocked than my mum is that I have got a gixxer.

Re: 11th of August
Im still a bit shocked that this bike is affordable. I paid £600 for my GT125R on insurance and this is just under a grand for it. Plus going from a GT125R to a GIXXER is a bit of a shock.
But im just so excited.
We need to plan a ride out or something.

Re: 11th of August
Sounds like a plan guys ...... meet up at Squires Cafe , Joel can show us some nice roads around his neck of the woods after
I can meet up with Nick first and we can ride up together .............. though I can't make it on the 11th August ( I'm away for that weekend for a family do )
GeeMan is trying to organize a rideout in and around North Wales in late August too , if anyone fancies it .............. Newbymick is coming up from '' Dahn Sarf '' for a couple of days also for this so as long as it doesn't clash with the Squires ride , I'm game for both

Re: 11th of August
Wales is a no for me. I cant afford to go for a few days as bike has stripped me off all my cashola. If we do squires we need to arrange it on hear so I can get some time off work. Im off 13th to 17th of august so any time in there is good for me. However I will need to follow someone as I have no idea on how to get there without a sat nav. My sat nav holder for bike has vanished so no clue how to get there.
As for roads around my neck of the woods, they are mostly shite and the good ones have all that shite stony road surfacing on them so corners are deadly. I mostly treck over to hollingworth lake all the time as that is a nice ride over. If you want twistys then there is none worth visiting.
If you want 4 miles of straights with some swoopers then I know a place if you want to try and max out your bikes. Although that would be highly illegal

Hollingworth Lake sounds good to me buddy ........ some nice roads around there too
Wales would be a weekend job , either a Saturday or Sunday (though Mick an myself will probably go Friday 'til Sunday ) but others can come down whenever they choose , if they want to come mate so no worries ( if anyone just wants to come down for one day that's fine )
13th - 17th not good for me this time ( M.O.T due 16th so need to get my jobs done beforehand )
