Try a normal car garage that also do bikes!! None of my local bike shops/garages will touch my bike! But my local car garage have MOT'd her for the last 3 years! With nothing but tyres needed! And the bike mechanic is a biker and a nice guy!

Hope that helps

I get my MOT at a local car garage too, no problem with them.

For repairs, I am lucky to have a former Hyosung dealer near Glasgow where I bought the bike.  Although he is no longer a dealer and sells mostly Chinese bikes now, he knows Hyosung bikes well and services it/changes the oil for me.  Got my new tyres there too, at a competitive price compared to buying on line then paying for fitting.

Is there not an independent bike shop or mechanic near you who would work on your bike?  I have spoken with one or two other shops up here who said they'd be happy enough to work on the bike, although I haven't needed them. There is a new chain of Hyosung dealers too, none near you?

For parts I have used Brooks Barn off E-bay and another motorcycle dealer close by for brake pads, which are the same as some Jap bikes (Honda, I think), and got a new rear chain sprocket from Sandy Bike Spares, also contacted through E-bay.  All very good prices, and in the UK, so no long delivery times from the far east.

I hope you find someone.

My bike after 5 months back home from garage, still in the same bad condition. Finally I fixed all on my own, and best how I can (I'm not a bike mechanic!).
