Howdy from Bristol Empty Howdy from Bristol

Just taken ownership of a 2011 125 GT.

At 6'2" and 17 stone, hopefully it's the perfect learner bike to take the Direct Access end of July.

As a relative novice, anything I should be aware of from a maintenance   affraid and general riding point of view?

Welcome to the forum Chief  Cool

If you're doing DAS , you'll only need it for the first part anyway ( second part of test will be on something 500 or 600cc ...... my mate Matt took his last year on a 600 Bandit  Wink  )

As for maintenance , keep an eye on your battery ....... Hyo batteries are notorious for how crap they are  Shocked  Shocked

I'd recommend a good battery charger ..... the kind you can use while the battery is still on the bike ( I have the Oxford Oximiser 900 but these can be a little expensive if you're on a budget  Wink  )

Have a look here  Smile

Riding ....... ride like everyone is out to kill you and you won't go far wrong  Laughing  Laughing
